Christchurch's Permanent Commemoration of the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II
OUR THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO BRAVED THE ELEMENTS ON SUCH A HORRENDOUSLY WET AND WINDY DAY TO COME AND SUPPORT OUR CENTENARY EVENT!!
We raised an amazing *£645.39*
on the day and enjoyed an impromptu visit from members of the cast from Highcliffe Charity Players who were performing 'CATS' at the Regent Centre.
The Mayor, Cllr Lesley Dedman, valiantly drew all 100+ prize winning tickets with such warmth and enthusiasm to the delight of those ticket holders present at the end of the afternoon. During the week prizes have been reunited with their ticket holders but 2 remain unclaimed as we have been unable to make contact with you. Please check to see if you hold either of the following blue tickets (serial no: 1R76 4P79) 238 & 319. If so, please email STC100@druitthall.org.uk.
The winner of the £80 TK Maxx Vouchers in the Sweepstake was a local High Street hairdresser - congratulations!!
Our thanks to all the local shops and businesses - and those further afield - who so generously gave prizes for the event.
Our thanks to Signs Express, Priory Industrial Estate, Christchurch who provided the fantastic eye-catching swing sign.
Our grateful thanks also to John Dale Ltd for so kindly providing the 100+ boxes that are vital for the draws to be made.
Druitt Hall is delighted to have been chosen as the venue for the event and thanks go to the regular Saturday hirers – Disco Ducks and BrendonCare – whose agreement was necessary and so kindly given.
This local branch of Save the Children is grateful to the Trustees of Druitt Hall for allowing this website to promote the event.
